Find the slide your team already made.

What it does

Claude can search accessible slides, compare previews, inspect a slide in detail, and retrieve a short-lived link to download an authorized slide as a PowerPoint file. The connector never creates, edits, deletes, moves, or grants access to presentation content beyond a user’s existing authorization.

Who can connect

The connector is for existing Slidesearch customers. You need a Slidesearch workspace with MCP enabled by an administrator, a Microsoft account, and access to at least one indexed Microsoft 365 source.

How access works

You sign in with Microsoft through OAuth. Slidesearch checks your workspace membership and Microsoft drive access on every request, so Claude can only retrieve slides that you are already authorized to access.

Tools

Slidesearch exposes six read-only tools.

• search_slides — Search the accessible slide corpus by content, visual layout, or deck context.
• load_more_slides — Return the next page of results from a search started by search_slides.
• get_slide_previews — Return a 768px JPEG preview for each of 1–10 slides in one call.
• get_deck_slide_preview — Return a preview for one slide identified by its deck and position.
• get_slide_image — Return a higher-resolution PNG of one slide for detailed inspection.
• get_slide_pptx — Return a time-limited download URL for one slide as a .pptx file.

A typical workflow: call search_slides, then get_slide_previews to compare the top results, then get_slide_image for any slide that needs closer inspection.

Data and privacy
